Thank you for sharing. I am truly saddened, somehow I lost touch with Gordon. However

I know he is now hunting arrowheads in a far better place. He was my friend!

I too, like so many of us, went all through the school years with Gordon. What I remember most about  Gordon was him playing his accordian in the talent shows. He was such a perfectionist and so highly gifted in other ways, too. I think he was a genious, his mind seemed to be running in so many directions, with all the knowledge he had stored in his mind. When he tried to answer questions in the classroom, sometimes it was hard for him to get the words out without being frustrated or jumbled. I remember a conversation that I had, as a child, with his mother. She told me that he was reading the Encycloepedias at the age of 3. I know she was a teacher, a substitute, I believe. She was very intellectural herself. I only saw his father a few times but he seemed like a quiet man, with his wheels always turning. This was truly a family that was bound together by intellect.  Gordon can now put his thoughts to rest, with the Lord and his parents in heaven. May you rest in peace Gordon, from a childhood friend, Carol
